Saskatchewan Protective Services Medals are being presented today [tues] in Saskatoon. Provincial Secretary Nadine Wilson says the men and women being honoured have continuously put the lives and well-being of others ahead of their own. The medal honours personnel with 25 years of service in Saskatchewan’s emergency services field including police, fire, emergency medical services, corrections, and Canadian Forces. There will be another ceremony in Regina on the 16th. In total 113 individuals are being honoured.
