On July 1st, Saskatchewan’s population stood at 1,162,062. That was a quarterly increase of 0.3 per cent. Our annual population increase was about one per cent according to Statistics Canada. Six provinces had larger annual increases. The national Average was 1.4 per cent. The nation’s population on July 1st was about 37 million. That’s an increase of over 518 thousand in a year.
