Three candidates are vying for two positions on the Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) Board of Directors.
The nominees are in alphabetical order:
Chad Doerksen Dalmeny
Shaun Dyrland Kyle
Trent Richards Assiniboia
Doerksen farms 8,000 acres with 15 to 20 percent seeded to pulses. Dyrland farms with his brother and father. The 15,000 acre farm has approximately half of its area devoted to lentils, peas and chickpeas. Trent Richards has 5,000 acres, with pulses accounting for about 40 percent of the rotation. Richards is currently an SPG Director.

The voting period will run from October 19 to November 30. Results will be announced in December. The two elected directors will begin their terms at the SPG Annual General Meeting on January 14 in Saskatoon.
