Some unique signage has been installed in Prince Albert. 12 Wayfinding signs direct travellers to the downtown and 19 others within the downtown are aimed at helping visitors and tourists find their way to prominent public arts and cultural space in the core area. The cost was covered by a crowdfunding campaign that was part of the, “This Place Matters,” competition held by the National Trust of Canada. In these days of cell phones and online maps, Mayor Greg Dionne says, “People still rely on signs to confirm you’re on the right path.”
