Last Sunday was a special day for the Humboldt Broncos. Players and personnel from the Junior A hockey team got on a bus and returned to the site of the April 6th tragedy to pay their respects. In a release, the team says some players chose not to attend for various personal reasons; some had already been to the site. Last April, the team’s bus collided with a semi at the rural intersection. 16 people on the bus were killed and 13 were injured. The team also extended their gratitude to the Melfort and Nipawin RCMP Detachments for their support during and after the team’s time at the site.
