Gord Wyant spoke Monday about the arbitration process that saw the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation get awarded a two year deal, one without a wage increase in the first year. He says teachers requested binding arbitration and this is the result. And Saskatchewan’s Education Minister also says it was teachers who walked away from the bargaining table, not the bargaining committee. Saskatchewan N-D-P education critic Carla Beck says Wyant is engaging in a war of words with teachers and that this is an invitation to sow division into the S-T-F and teachers. (CKRM)
