A 19 year old man has been charged in connection to the Regina Police Service investigation into the CBC building in Regina being broken into.
Officers responded just after 5 this morning for what was originally a report of a disturbance at the rear of the building, but then they were told an unknown male was inside.
The man was taken into custody and no one was hurt but it is alleged the suspect caused significant equipment damage.
Arlen Bitternose of Regina is charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence and mischief over $5-thousand.
It’s not known if other media outlets being tagged with graffiti overnight is connected to this incident.
The Regina Police Service is investigating several incidents of graffiti, with many media outlets being tagged in that city along with other businesses.
Police believe the graffiti incidents are connected, with the same phrase spray painted at each location.
As of late afternoon on Tuesday, police noted that reports were still coming in from various locations in the city and just outside Regina.
The graffiti investigator is gathering evidence and is requesting any video from these locations.
A suspect has not yet been identified.
