Hundreds of Motorcycle enthusiasts are getting ready for the annual Salvation Army Biker’s Toy Run. Preparations for the annual ride begin at 9am tomorrow (Sat) with the pancake breakfast at the Marquis Downs Cook Shack. Bikers will leave at 11am and are expected to arrive at the Saskatoon Inn at about 11:30. That’s where donations of unwrapped toys and stuffed animals are being accepted in conjunction with the fundraising barbeque. A Biker show and shine has been added to the program at the Saskatoon Inn. Salvation Army Captain Laurie Sauder is hoping for another large turnout as it’s one of their major pre-Christmas events. The Organization has provided about 13,000 toys to around 4,000 children through their Christmas toy program.
