A few more communities have SaskTel internet as the Crown Corporation extends further into rural Saskatchewan.
The Villages of Veregin, Stenen, and the Hamlet of Neuanlage now have DSL internet service and the community of Kitsakie, which is part of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, now has faster service.
Acting SaskTel President and CEO, Doug Burnett, says providing fast, reliable internet services through the whole province is a key priority for them.
It’s part of the company’s commitment to invest $301-million in Saskatchewan this fiscal year and a total of over $1.4-billion over the next 5 years.
