Two U of S Students Receive Significant Scholarships

Two University of Saskatchewan students are recipients of much sought after Schulich Leader Scholarship awards. Out of a pool of 350 thousand potential candidates across Canada, only 50 are chosen. 19 year old Joel Pollak receives the $100 thousand scholarship as he enters the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program this fall. 18 year old Vaidehee Lanke receives an $80 thousand scholarship as she enters the Bachelor of Science program. Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest STEM scholarships in Canada, recognizing achievement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
