16 grades 9 to 12 students are in Regina this week, learning how to make their communities safer. The RCMP Academy is hosting the students. Each is accompanied by an RCMP employee from their community. Part of their time will be spent developing an action plan to help address a youth crime or victimization issue in their community. Back home they will work to implement these plans with help from the local RCMP. Their visit to the academy ends on Sunday.
