The second round of public consultation is open for the City of Prince Albert’s redesign of Central Avenue downtown.
It’s in advance of eventual work on the underground infrastructure, which is 110 years old.
Four options have been prepared that represent different configurations for traffic, parking, public space and sidewalks.
P.A.’s Director of Planning and Development Services, Craig Guidinger, says the four options either have a pedestrian or vehicle focus.
The input will then form a recommendation to City Council for approval, with a final design to be presented by the end of this year.
It will be used to rebuild Central Avenue when it comes time to replace the aging infrastructure.
