Shannon Luoma of Saskatoon says it pays to listen to your wife.
He says his wife heard there were unclaimed lottery prizes and told him to check his stack of tickets.
She was right to do so because one of those tickets was the million dollar June 8th win from the Western max draw.
Luoma has no definite plans for the money yet.
He says basically they will live more comfortably and a little freer.
Luoma bought his ticket at the Shell Select on McOrmond Drive.
