More hot weather is on the way later this week, meaning SaskPower could set more consumption records. The power company’s Johnathan Trembley says if you have air conditioning, make sure it’s serviced properly. And, how about freezing your bed sheets? Trembley says doing that for half an hour before bed is a quick and cheap way to keep cool at night. Last Friday saw a new record of 34 hundred and 25 megawatts used, and Trembley adds 54 megawatts more power has been used so far, compared to the 2017 summer peak, enough for 50 thousand homes.
