A 26 year old man is facing drug related charges after he was caught speeding Wednesday afternoon.
Around 3:45, police were conducting a speed enforcement project in the area of College Drive and McKercher Drive when they caught a truck traveling well over the posted speed limit.
When officers approached the vehicle, they saw an open case of alcohol as well as marijuana plants.
The man from North Battleford is charged with possession of marijuana and and has been issued a ticket for speeding.
He also faces a three-day roadside suspension and vehicle impoundment for exceeding a blood alcohol content of 0.4.
