It’s Saskatchewan Day, which means some things that are normally opened on a Monday are closed.
City Hall, all locations of the Saskatoon Public Library, the Civic Conservatory, Cosmo Civic Centre, Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre and Terry Fox Track in the SaskTel Sports Centre are closed.
Regular fitness classes at the Field House and the Shaw Centre are cancelled but the facilities are still open.
The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo is open as are Lakewood and Lawson Civic Centre.
The landfill and the City’s compost depots are open.
Garbage, compost and recycling cart collections normally scheduled for today will still be picked up.
When it comes to bus service, Saskatoon Transit is on the holiday service schedule as is Access Transit.
You can park for free in the City’s pay parking areas, but within the time limits posted for regular days.
