Saskatoon RCMP say it has now been confirmed that the body found along the South Saskatchewan River on Thursday is that of 57 year old Robert Lehto.
The investigation is continuing in cooperation with the Coroner’s Office.
It was last Sunday that Robert Lehto was last seen at Paradise Beach with friends, near a sandbar in the river.
He was last seen around 2 in the afternoon that day and was reported missing around 6, with extensive searches from the RCMP, the Saskatoon Fire Department, a police dog team along the shoreline, STARS, the RCMP Underwater Recovery Unit and Civilian Air Search and Rescue.
