Ribfest is set to take place this weekend in Diefenbaker Park.
Ribbers will be attendance from all across Canada says the Chair of the Rotary Ribfest Committee, Boris Kishchuk.
He says this year the event will include new entertainment and other food vendors will be attendance offering more than just ribs with corn on the cobb, deserts and coffee.
The cost to get into the park for the 6th annual Ribfest is free although Kishchuk says they willl welcome donations to help support Rotary’s projects within the community.
The event gets underway Friday afternoon at 4 and runs until 9 this evening and doors open again at 11 a.m. both on Saturday and Sunday and once again on Monday.
The location in the park for the event will be a little bit different than previous years says Kishchuk as construction on the hill has pushed the set up closer to St. Henry Avenue.
