A 28-year-old man is facing 13 charges after two police officers suffered minor injuries.
Montreal Lake RCMP say the alleged offenses include impaired driving, three counts of endangering the life of an officer, two counts of assault with a weapon and trying to injure a police dog.
Police say one officer was hurt at around noon Wednesday by the driver following a traffic stop after he arrested a women who was in the car.
The other officer was dragged briefly after the suspect’s vehicle tried to avoid a spike belt at the end of a low-speed pursuit that followed along highway 969.
The driver was forced off the road and was bitten by the dog while being arrested.
