If you noticed smoke coming from the top of Mount Blackstrap yesterday (Wed), the provincial government confirms there was a fire that employees at the Provincial Park believe was started by someone detonating fireworks at the top of it.
No significant infrastructure was lost, but this picture sent in from a witness shows the fire must have covered a fair amount of the top of the hill.
