A Saskatoon Patrol officer suffered minor injuries follow a crash at an intersection with another vehicle this morning (Wed).
The officer had been dispatched to a priority call and his lights and siren were on at the time.
Saskatoon Police report that the officer was heading west on 22nd Street West and came to a stop when he reached Idylwyld Drive North before proceeding through the intersection.
He was then struck by an SUV that failed to yield.
Charges against the 50 year old woman driving the SUV are pending as the investigation continues.
