Saskatchewan Golfers Stumble to Start Canadian Junior Men’s

Saskatchewan is 10th and last in the Inter-Provincial team competiton after one round of the Canadian Junior Men’s Championship in Medicine Hat.

Saskatchewan’s team score is 158, 15 shots back of leading Ontario. Josh Nagy and Bradley Moser of Saskatoon each shot 79 while non-team members Connor Scissons of Saskatoon and Colby Friedrich of North Battleford were 77…nine strokes off the lead. Steven Duchscher of Saskatoon carded an 80. Round 2 goes Tuesday. The inter-provincial team competition winds up while the individual field will be cut after Tuesday’s second round.
