The Saskatchewan Roughriders returned to the practice field Monday to start a short week of preparation.
Quarterback Zach Collaros (pictured) was out throwing the football around after being activated from the six-game injured list…two games early. Collaros sustained an “Upper Body” injury in Week 2. The Roughriders added veteran import defensive back Marcell Young to the practice roster. The 30-year-old has 102 games worth of C-F-L experience with Hamilton and Edmonton over the past seven years. To make room, the Riders released former New York Giants’ safety Will Blackmon and import linebacker Carl Bradford. The 3-3 Green and White visit the 4-2 Eskimos Thursday.
