Saskatoon Police say the July 15th incident involving a semi at a road-side construction site is a case of hit-and-run.
A city employee working along Circle Drive at Avenue C was nearly hit by a semi that ran over two metal signs, several pylons and damaged an infrared pothole patching machine.
The devise carrying two propane tanks was dragged several metres and may cost 15-thousand dollars to repair.
That may mean cancellation of a pilot project featuring the new piece of equipment.
