A program in Regina and Saskatoon will benefit preschool-aged children who are deaf and hard of hearing or connected to the deaf and hard of hearing communities.
the provincial government says it’s a half-day program with up to sixteen children, ages 3 and 4, in each program.
Family or family friends of similar age can also apply.
The funding comes from a provincial and federal agreement to support unique early learning and childcare needs.
The idea is to build a solid foundation for further learning.
The program will be offered through Saskatchewan Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services and Regina Public Schools.
