RCMP confirm they have found the body of 48 year old Claude Landry of Kincaid. He had been missing since July 12th. Now, the Major Crimes Unit south, with help from Forensic Identification, is searching the City of Moose Jaw dump. They are looking for more evidence concerning the alleged homicide of Landry.
His disappearance was called suspicious not long after he was reported missing. Then, Gravelbourg RCMP announced 74 year old Robert Arams of that community had been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and Indignity to a Body. Two days later, 42 year old David Earl Prentice of Lafleche was charged with Indignity to a Body.
Landry’s body was discovered on Tuesday. The search of the dump is expected to last all day.
A third person has been charged in connection to the investigation, but not in connection to Landry’s death. RCMP say 41 year old Shauna Prentice of Lafleche was charged with public mischief for allegedly providing a false sworn statement to investigators.
