Duron Carter took snaps on both sides of the ball Tuesday as the Saskatchewan Roughriders returned to practice.
The all-star receiver saw time at his normal position on offence and at cornerback on defence in advance of Saturday’s home game with Calgary. Carter’s time on offence came about while former Super Bowl champion Will Blackmon saw time with the starting defence at Carter’s cornerback spot. Blackmon was one of three import players to join the Green and White’s practice roster yesterday. The 33-year-old was a member of the New York Giants in 2011 when they won the N-F-L title. Also on the field was Canadian offensive lineman Josiah St. John after coming off the six-game disabled list. In addition, Zach Collaros is “feeling better” but the Riders’ quarterback remains on the six-game injured list.
