A driver travelling along Highway 4 shortly after four this morning (wed) came upon the body of a male in the middle of the road. Battleford RCMP responded to the location, about 1 km south of Battleford. At last word, they were still on-scene [9am] and expected to be there for several hours yet. While the investigation is underway, traffic heading north and south is being detoured. Drivers are asked to avoid the area of possible. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
