A 30 year old man is facing numerous charges in Prince Albert after a male victim says he was threatened with a handgun. Police say they were called about the incident around 8:30 Monday morning. Officers were told a man entered a residence on the 600 block of 7th Street East, had an altercation with the victim, threatened him with a gun and then left. Officers found their suspect, who tried unsuccessfully to run off. A firearm was retrieved in the area of the arrest. The suspect faces several charges including Pointing a Firearm, Assault, and Uttering a Death Threat. He is to appear in court in Prince Albert today (tues).
