A 24 year old women is facing charges in two armed robberies.
Saskatoon Police say the suspect was unable to get away with anything from the first victim, but grabbed the purse of the second. Neither were injured after being threatened with a knife by a women driving a White Ford Escape.
The first incident happened at about 8 o’clock this morning in the 200-block of Lake Crescent and the second about a half hour later near Acadia Drive and Harrington Street.
Officers stopped the stolen car shortly after 1 p.m. at 2nd Avenue North and 23rd Street East and the suspect was arrested without incident with three young children in the vehicle.
They were cared for by Mobile Crisis.
The woman is charged with attempted robbery, robbery, possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon and assault with a weapon.
