The Mayor of Saskatoon is spending the next three days in New York City for an intensive three day workshop.
Charlie Clark is among 40 mayors from around the world invited to learn from world class experts in leadership, management and innovation.
The program was developed by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg in collaboration with Harvard University.
It’s designed to help mayors manage the complexities of running a modern city.
Clark feels although Saskatoon is a smaller city, it faces the same issues as major centres like New York.
Clark will appoint two senior city officials to attend a similar session next month.
All of the expenses for the Saskatoon delegation are being paid for by the program.
