It’s my Parting Shot for some Weekend Short Shots…

       Yes, the Fearless Predictor will continue picking against the Riders for as long as the reverse psychology works. That will likely be next Saturday when Calgary visits Mosaic Stadium!

       I’m willing to acknowledge that Brandon Bridge played well last night, managing the offence very well, while the defence did a stellar job…again! However, I’m still not sold on Bridge. All three of his victories as a starting quarterback have come against Hamilton. We’ll see what he can do against Calgary and Edmonton in the next couple of weeks!

       So, what will Rider Nation have to belly-ache about for the next eight days? There’s always heading to your nearest airport to boo bad landings!

       I don’t understand why Toronto Raptors’ fans are so upset with DeMar DeRozan being traded to San Antonio…it’s not like they’ve ever won anything with him in the line-up! I am curious to see how Kyle Lowry responds to not having his long-time sidekick DeRozan and playing second-fiddle to newcomer Kawhi Leonard!

       And, this one passed me by yesterday, but I have touched base with Caleb Fantillo. Not the most skilled Saskatoon Blade ever, but one of the most popular young guys in recent memory with the W-H-L team and a fine young man who will do great things in his chosen field of endeavour in the future!
