Esterhazy RCMP report that a couple of horses pulling a wagon off Highway 247 in the Round Lake area became spooked around 8:30 p.m. Thursday night, took off at a gallop, and when the wagon came to a stop several of the 20 young people on the ride had suffered injuries.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority reports that 15 people were treated in hospital after the accident in the province’s southeast.
There were no life-threatening injuries and as of noon today (Fri) nine people had been discharged.
There is no word on whether the horses were injured.
