The Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations will be paddling down the South Saskatchewan River tomorrow morning (Fri), heading to Batoche to kick off the 48th annual Back to Batoche Days festival.
Minister Carolyn Bennett will travel by voyageur canoe to sign an agreement to advance reconciliation between Metis Nation-Saskatchewan and the federal government, leaving Gabriel’s Crossing at 8 tomorrow morning and arriving at Batoche around 9:15 with opening ceremonies at 10 a.m.
