Saskatchewan Woman Honoured by Canadian Teachers’ Federation

The Canadian Teachers’ Federation has honoured a Saskatchewan woman with a CTF Special Recognition Award. Gwen Dueck of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation was the STF’s first female Assistant General Secretary and General Secretary. Along with her 13 years of teaching experience, the CTF says, Dueck has been a leader in social and political advocacy as well as professional stewardship and responsibility. She has also played key roles in international projects, assisting developing areas with teaching resources.
