There was a fatal, two vehicle accident around 11:30 last night (thurs), on Highway 4, about 4kms south of Cochin. Two men in one car died at the scene. Another man, who was a passenger in the same car, was taken to hospital in North Battleford with unknown injuries. Another man, the lone occupant of the second vehicle, was treated at the scene. RCMP say their initial investigation indicates the vehicles collided when one of them tried to make a U-turn on the two-lane highway. The highway was restricted for a while in the area to a single lane as a collision reconstructionist went over the scene.
