Prince Albert Police nabbed close to 350 people in their STEP blitz. That includes about 125 speeding tickets and 24 cell phone violations. They handed 250 tickets and gave 100 warnings during the traffic enforcement campaign last Thursday and Friday. Meanwhile, Prince Albert Police responded to 285 calls throughout last past weekend and made 39 arrests. The majority of calls were disturbance and intoxicated persons. However, around 2:30 Saturday morning, police were called out to a B and E of a business in the 200 block of South Industrial Drive after a security guard allegedly found someone in the business compound. Police managed to track down a suspect after he took off on foot and and a 28 year old man from Wollaston Lake was in Prince Albert Provincial Court Monday.
