A 27-year-old Lloydminster man has received a ten year prison sentence for a September 2017 crash that killed three Edmonton women.
Brandon Stucka pleaded guilty in May to nine charges including three counts of criminal negligence causing death.
Stucka was accused of stealing a truck and driving it at high speed down highway 16.
RCMP called off their pursuit a half hour before the fatal collision with a minivan near Lloydminster over safety concerns.
A fourth women in the van was treated and released from hospital.
Because of time served, Stucka is due to be released in about eight years. He will also face a ten year driving ban after he gets out of prison.
