It’s my Parting Shot for some Weekend Short Shots…

       What is becoming predictable about the Saskatchewan Roughriders…is their unpredictability! Once again, the Fearless Predictor picked the wrong result for a game involving the Green and White…and I’m just fine with that!

       I know I’m in the minority when I say this, but I can hardly wait for Zach Collaros to be ready to return to action. Brandon Bridge and David Watford look like they can be effective in small doses, but can’t be relied on for a full 60 minutes! I do like Watford’s decisiveness…although his eyes can be read and that is something that can be learned with time!

       I don’t know what Mark Shapiro and Ross Atkins are waiting for?! Pull the trigger on the trades you need to make. The Blue Jays are double-digit games out of the American League East Division lead and the A-L wild-card playoff spots…meaning they aren’t contenders with more than half the season done. Trade Jay Happ now…before he comes up injured like Marco Estrada did back on Tuesday, albeit not a major hurt. Still, if there’s a good deal on the table, get it done!!

       Even though I knew of the change, it was still weird to see Craig Prentice in the Pro Shop at the Willows after crossing paths with him many times over at the Legends in previous years. The good news is that Craig is still the same great guy and I look forward to seeing him again, and playing the course, soon!
