Canada’s National Junior Men’s fastpitch softball team plays their final tune-up games Tuesday night in Saskatoon prior to the World Championship.
The Canadian boys will play against the Angels…top team in Saskatoon men’s league play this season…in a doubleheader starting at 6:45 p.m. at Bob Van Impe Stadium. Monday night in Regina, the Canadians split a twinbill with the Bulyea Rustlers, winning the opener 6-4 before falling 17-9 in the nightcap. The Junior Men’s Worlds open Saturday in Prince Albert and run through July 15. Saskatchewan content on Team Canada consists of utility player Troy Kosmynka of Warman and infielder Ryan Smith of Shellbrook.
