Just days away from a potentially huge meeting between a protest group and the provincial government, Premier Scott Moe shared his view of the matter. The Justice for our Stolen Children protest group has been on the lawn in front of the Legislature for months now, raising concerns over several topics including the provincial foster care system and the lack of investigation in deaths of First Nations children. Premier Moe says while he supports their protest and hopes for positive conversations, the camp in the park does break the law. A meeting is in place between the group and provincial leaders in Fort Qu’Appelle on Monday. Premier Moe will not be part of that discussion due to prior commitments made in Saskatoon.
