Although police say its not a random act, the accused in a home invasion ended up in hospital after a confrontation with the occupant of the house. RCMP were called to a business yard North of Kindersley on Sunday night, just after 10:30, for a break, enter and assault. The suspect, a 50 year old man from Alberta, was tracked down at the local hospital and will be in court Friday facing charges of Assault with a Weapon, Break and Enter, Disguised with Intent to Commit an Offence, and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose. The resident of the house suffered minor injuries that did not require medical treatment.
