Happening today (mon) is the division 5 June meeting of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities. President of SARM, Ray Orb says today’s meeting at the Travelodge in Saskatoon will cover various topics such as carbon tax, rural crime and drainage. Orb says a big part of the discussion will be rural crime as Corporal Zurevinski from the RCMP will be presenting.
President Orb says he hopes that discussions about creating a provincial crime watch association will happen at today’s meeting as he would like to plan to have a meeting in the future to further discuss the idea creating a provincial crime watch association. Orb adds there will be a total of 6 division meetings happening around the province this week and he’s hoping for good attendance to help increase the number of people talking about the various topics. Today’s division 5 meeting in Saskatoon gets underway at 2 p.m.
