Summertime is fast approaching and with that many families will be on the road travelling or will be at home on those rainy days.
That’s why Saskatchewan in motion has released its annual Summer Bucket List with those in mind.
Kim Herperger from Saskatchewan in motion says this year’s Summer Bucket List has ideas for those travelling on how to stay active including setting time aside to go hiking, play catch, and play frisbee to just name a few.
She says families can plan times to be active while on their way to their summertime destination or once they arrive.
As for those at home on rainy days, Herperger says kids love to be active while it’s raining which may include jumping into all the puddles that are left as a result of a wet and rainy day.
Herperger also points to the popular pyjama olympics as a way of staying indoors on a rainy day. Instructions and printables about pyjama olympics can be found on the Saskatchewan in motion website. Below is a link to the Summer Bucket List.
