Antwane Grant isn’t going to crack the deep Saskatchewan Roughriders’ receiving corps in 2018.
The 25-year-old Western Kentucky grad was one of three import players released by the Green and White Monday morning before the group hit the field for the final few days of training camp. Grant played in five games last year with the Riders, catching seven passes for 107 yards. Saskatchewan apprears loaded at import receiver with Duron Carter, Namaan Roosevelt, Bakari Grant, Chad Owens and Caleb Holley all returning plus newcomers Shaq Evans and Jordan Williams-Lambert pushing for a spot as well. The Roughriders, also, released defensive back Daniel Davie and defensive lineman Johnny Maxey while they signed running back David Cobb and defensive back Aaron Ivory…all imports.
