Five people have been arrested in a major bust by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team.
Police say it started with an April investigation into Fentanyl trafficking followed by the arrests of two men after a May 31st vehicle stop in the 100 block of Third Avenue South.
Related raids of a house on that street and another on Gillies Way resulted in the arrests of two other men and a woman.
Police say they recovered 21 kilos of methamphetamine, almost 4,500 Fentanyl pills, over 2,400 grams of powdered cocaine and large quantities of crack cocaine, hashish, marijuana and heroin. They also scooped 400-thousand dollars in cash.
In addition to drug-related charges the four men ranging in age from 30 to 62 and the 60 year old woman are facing charges of possession of the proceeds of crime.
