There was a home invasion around 1:30 Wednesday morning at a residence in the community of Rhein. Yorkton Rural RCMP say multiple individuals wearing masks entered the residence with weapons. The lone male inside was assaulted and several items were taken including a large amount of cash and two firearms. The victim was taken to hospital. Police are hoping the public can help provide some information, identifying any suspicious vehicles that may have been in or around Rhein. You can contact Yorkton Rural Detachment or Crime Stoppers. RCMP don’t believe there is any threat to the public.
