Running back Tre Mason was on the field at Griffiths Stadium Wednesday morning as Saskatchewan Roughriders’ training camp resumed.
Mason’s signing fills up the Green and White’s pre-season roster…as allowed by C-F-L rules. The Riders welcomed offensive lineman Josiah St. John on the field Wednesday, although the 2016 first overall Draft pick wasn’t in shoulder pads and didn’t take part in team drills. Saskatchewan didn’t have linebacker Cameron Judge, offensive lineman Dariusz Bladek, receiver Devon Bailey and defensive lineman Makana Henry on the field due to injury while defensive back Chris Lyles started the day on the field…but didn’t finish. The Roughriders are holding single workouts through next Wednesday here in Saskatoon and area…after which they will head to Regina for next Friday’s second and final pre-season game against Calgary.
