During Tuesday’s Question Period at the Saskatchewan Legislature NDP leader Ryan Meili asked for clarification on the government’s plans for Crown Corporations.
He says his party is hearing concerns from the public about whether there will be any more privatizations for SaskTel or any other Crown agency.
Meili says the STC was called a wind down but was basically a sell-off.

Meili listed more sell-offs including Information Services Corporation, 40 liquor stores, and the television network SCN.
Meili doesn’t believe it was an accident that the SLGA was moved out of the Crown Protection Act.
However, Premier Scott Moe stated that his government supports the Crown Protection Act and the services they provide. (CKRM)
