The wildfire alert for along the southern boundary of Prince Albert National Park has been extended for another 48 hours as of Friday afternoon just after 2 o’clock.
Sask Alert says there is no immediate threat, but the fire is east of the RM of Canwood, so residents close to the boundary within the area where the wildfire is burning are being advised to be prepared to evacuate if it’s required.
The same goes for the RM of Shellbrook, with a 24 hour extension.
The notice of being prepared to evacuate also continues for those in the Crutwell and Holbein area for the next 24 hours because of the Rally Fire west of Prince Albert.
